They prefer their ice cream doused with whipped cream, sprinkles and a cherry. Following that logic, if the Volkswagen Rabbit is a scoop of tasty vanilla then the R32 is a banana split. The R32 is built on the same structure as the Rabbit and shares many of its features but in terms of performance there is little comparison. A big increase in horsepower, all-wheel drive and a host of other performance-related improvements have turned VW's humble people's car into a serious performer. Delicious as a sundae.
