Hello all, this video is of a fellow Marine, Cpl Muñiz, filling you all in on some basic shooting knowledge. We both shot in the U.S. Marine Corps Far East Division Matches, which is a prestigious competition that ties into rifle and pistol competitions on an international scope. The points we earn and all that can also help us in the future. He placed silver in the Rifle competition, I placed bronze in the pistol competition. There were a total of 300 Marines shooting in our Match, and 900 shooting from Okinawa. Some of these tips only apply to competition shooting, and not for qualifying on the actual Marine Corps rifle range.
