so i've been an aimee mann fan for years, and in fact, she is one of the reasons i moved to acoustic music. one of my most popular originals(a song called 'kiss'), though it does not sound like it, was inspired by a song of hers. i was very happy when this opportunity came along, as it allowed me to pay homage to her by covering one of her lovely songs in my own style....and i'd very much like to meet her and tell her how inspirational she has been to me in person. you may hear my own songs at http://www.basement3.com or http://www.myspace.com/basement3music
