PcPlanets.com now supports playing music videos and mp3s. Music videos are encoded for either Microsoft Media Player, Real Networks Realplayer, Apple Quicktime and Macromedia Flash. To help users view, find, play and embed music videos and mp3s into their myspace, bebo, xanga or facebook profiles, I have written this guide. Please read it carefully before you submit any questions or complaints.

If the video does not play, look below the video to "Play From Alternate Source #1 #2 #3". Click on the #1 #2 #3 and the video will play.

If the video still does not play, then you most likely need to upgrade or install your FREE media players

Playlists are WORKING!! THE VIDEO MUST BE PLAYING ON PCPLANETS.COM WHEN YOU CLICK 'ADD TO PLAYLIST', otherwise you are adding a non-working video to your playlist.

The VIDEO CODES have moved to the media player. The media player is the page where the videos actually play. The video codes will be displayed when you click on the GET VIDEO CODE button.

1. How do I put a video on my page?

- Search and find your favorite music video.

- Click the "Copy to clipboard" button below the appropriate textbox or put cursor into the textbox and press Ctrl+A, then Ctrl+C.

- Go to where you can edit your webpage. It will be different depending on what website you're on. There should be a specific page or area where you can change the text or words that appear on your webpage. Paste/insert the code in this area by pressing Ctrl+V.

2. How do I put more than one video on my page? How to make custom playlist?

- Search and find your favorite music videos.

- Click "Add to My Playlist" button for each video. You can see how much videos already in your playlist at the top left corner in the media player.

- When finished, go to "My Playlist" page where you can arrange videos, choose playlist options and preview playlist.

- On the last tab click the "Copy to clipboard" button below the textbox or put cursor into the textbox and press Ctrl+A, then Ctrl+C. Then open the page your want to put your videos into and press Ctrl+V.

3. Why isn't the video working?

It could be any number of reasons:

- You may be trying to view a video that is too fast for your internet connection speed.

- You may not have Windows Media Player, RealPlayer or QuickTime on your computer. Download latest version of the video player. All these video players are available for free.

- The videocode is broken. We check all videocodes periodically and remove them from the site if they are no longer working.

4. Why did my video stopped working?

The link to the video may be broken. We do not host the videos, so we have no control if videos are removed from another website's library. We check all videocodes periodically and remove them from the site if they are no longer working.

5. How do I resize the video?

Change the height and width values in the code.

Example
width="640" height="480" will resize your video to 640x480 pixels. You should add height of controls to the video height.

6. How do I remove the controls on the video player?

Change the ShowControls value in the code.

Example
showcontrols="0" - removes the controls (play, stop, pause, etc.) from the video.
showcontrols="1" - adds the controls to the video.

7. How do I add music video codes to MySpace?

1. Find your favorite music video code and copy it to clipboard (see above).
2. Revisit MySpace.Com, log-in.
3. Click Edit My Profile link.
4. You will get a list of sections you can customize, and add your music video to (Interests, Music, Movies, etc). Click Edit link below the section you want to put your video into.
5. Paste your code by clicking "CTRL+V".
6. Click Preview and in the next page click Submit.
7. That's it! Your video has been added to the page.
8. How do I add music video codes to my Profile on Friendster?

1. Find your favorite music video code and copy it to clipboard (see above).
2. Click the Copy Code To Clipboard button under the textbox entitled as "Music Video Code".
3. Revisit Friendster.Com
4. Login and click link My Profile at the right top of page.
5. Click Edit Profile link.
6. Click Customize link at the top.
7. Press "Ctrl+V" under title "Add music and video..." to paste the code.
8. Click button Save at the bottom of page to save changes.
9. How do I add music video codes to your Blog posts on Friendster?

1. Find your favorite music video code and copy it to clipboard (see above).
2. Revisit Friendster.Com
3. Login and click Blogs link at the top right of page.
4. Click Update Blog link at the bottom of the page.
5. Choose Create a Post under title Shortcuts.
6. Click Insert Link icon, located near email icon.
7. You will be asked to "Enter URL" -- insert address of PcPlanets.com page, where your video is located. Click OK.
8. In the next window write down name of a song. Click OK.
9. Click Save button at the bottom of page.
10. That's it! You'll see "Your post has been saved" message".
10. How do I add music video codes to Xanga?

1. Find your favorite music video code and copy it to clipboard (see above).
2. Revisit Xanga.Com
3. Login and click New Weblog Entry.
4. Click Edit HTML links.
5. Press Ctrl+V to paste the code into your page.
6. Click Submit button
7. You will be redirected to your main blog page, where you will see your video.
11. How do I add music video codes to Blogger?

1. Find your favorite music video code and copy it to clipboard (see above).
2. Revisit Blogger.Com
3. Login and click button NEW POST (with a big plus sign).
4. Choose Edit HTML.
5. Press Ctrl+V to paste the code into your page.
6. Click Public Post button, you will see "Your blog published successfully" message.
7. You can test video by using "View Blog" link.
12. How do I add music video codes to Piczo?

1. Find your favorite music video code and copy it to clipboard (see above).
2. Go to your Page Editor on Piczo.Com
3. Click on the Tools button at the top of the page.
4. Scroll down to Controls.
5. Click HTML in the popup window that appears.
6. A page element box will open with instructions "HTML goes here"
7. Click the "T" button on the right corner of the page element box.
8. Paste the music video code inside this box by pressing "CTRL+V"
9. Click OK.
10. Your video will now play inside the page element box.
11. Click on the Hand icon and drag the page element box wherever you want your music video to appear.

13. How do I add music video codes to BlackPlanet, Migente, or AsianAvenue?

Special Instructions For (BlackPlanet, MiGente & AsianAvenue)

1. Find your favorite music video code and copy it to clipboard (see above).
2. Revisit BlackPlanet, Migente or AsianAvenue.
3. Click the Edit link on the bottom left of the screen (next to your username).
4. You will then be taken to the area where you can edit your homepage.
5. Find the link Personal Message, then click it.
6. You will then be taken to a textbox that contains the content of your homepage.
7. Choose the location for your video, then press Ctrl+V to paste the code on your page.
8. Right below the textbox where you pasted the code, enter your password.
9. Right below the password, click on Preview Page if you want to see what your page looks like before saving it. If you're happy with it, re-enter your password and click Finish.

14. How do I add music video codes to MSN Spaces?

1. Find your favorite music video code and copy it to clipboard (see above). You need to copy "Link to music video" code.
2. Revisit MSN Spaces and Sing In.
3. Choose Blog in menu.
4. Click Add entry.
5. Enter Title and choose HTML Mode.
6. Press Ctrl+V to paste the code into your page.
7. Click Publish Entry button.
8. You can see video by visiting your blog.
15. How do I remove music video codes from MySpace blog?

1. Revisit MySpace.Com and Log In.
2. Click Blog in top navigation bar.
3. Go to View Blog in My Controls section.
4. Choose post with video, that you want to delete and click Remove.
5. When MySpace ask you "Are you sure you want to remove this blog?" click OK.

1. Revisit MySpace.Com, Log In.
2. Click Edit My Profile link.

1. Revisit Xanga.com and Log In.
2. Select entry, that you want to delete, and click "edit it" in bottom menu.
3. Click on the button "Delete", that is located at the bottom right corner of the page.
4. When Xanga.com ask you "Are you sure you want to delete this post" click OK.
5. Well done! Your video will be removed from your blog.
18. How do I remove music video codes from Piczo blog?

1. Revisit Piczo.com and Log In.
2. Go to "Page Editor".
3. Find box, where video that you want to delete is located.
4. Press button "T" in the right top corner of this box.
5. In "Edit HTML" window use botton "Delete" and "OK" in confirmation message.
6. Well done! Your video will be removed from your blog.
